CREtelligent Rocks!…at Habitat for Humanity’s Rock the Block
On Saturday, May 7 a group of CREtelligent employees spent the day pounding nails, drilling holes, sawing wood and painting as part of Habitat for Humanity’s Rock the Block program. Rock the Block is a 2-day community impact event that brings together hundreds of community volunteers to work in partnership with residents to uplift their neighborhoods.
This year over 500 volunteers worked on 23 home repairs and 4 community projects to improve the Oak Park neighborhood. The projects include activities such as landscaping, painting, building fences, carpentry, yard and community clean up.
“A core value of CREtelligent is supporting the well-being of our employees to be the best version of themselves, said Tobi Lutz, Chief Experience Officer at CREtelligent. “When we pull together as a team in our local communities, we do so as a company to help support the strengthening of families and local business and we do so as team members who want to learn, grow, and give generously of our time and resources to others. We are tremendously thankful for our partnership with Habitat for Humanity, our CREtelligent team will continue to make an impact in our local communities,” said Lutz.
Over the past 4 years, Habitat’s focused Rock the Block efforts in Oak Park have repaired over 50 homes and impacted over 2,000 individuals.
